At the end of February 2019, the first European educational platform for interactive learning “IEDU360.EU” was officially opened. As a target product, it is unique not only for Europe but also globally. It was created as a joint project of several European countries – Great Britain, Czech Republic, Italy and Bulgaria, with the leading team of the Interactive Bulgaria Foundation. The platform is based on the innovative 360 ° VR technology that visitors can virtually “experience” the material. It makes the learning process much more modern, faster and more efficient and puts it as close as possible to the real environment. It is expected that the learning process will be facilitated with pupils improving the perception of the study material by more than 50%. Research shows that adolescents spend 80% of their time on the internet, and most get acquainted with the network long before they go to school. “Children’s access to the Internet and technology from an early age imply the need for education to be modern and interactive to be of interest to them. We use that they are on the net for something good – to help them in the learning process. The presentation of the training material in the form of virtual tours allows children to move to the most remote and inaccessible places on the planet and to experience the lesson, “explains Ivan Velkov, chairman of the Interactive Bulgaria Foundation. The innovative IEDU360.EU web system is free and has hundreds of tours in virtual reality and videos from several countries, which are also in several languages. Created virtual lessons can be continuously upgraded with a wide range of tools – text, photography, collage, sound, video, test / test game interaction. Especially for Bulgaria – pupils and teachers can now use many materials for history and geography education. The platform can be used with both VR glasses and glasses from all devices.
